A Center of Excellence for Data Governance has been established to bring order to a rapidly expanding data landscape. The organization faces increasing regulatory scrutiny, privacy obligations, and a pressing need for consistent enterprise data models. This role is not about maintaining the status quo; it is about leading a stream that will shape the rules of the game. You will join a group of forward-thinking data professionals who are building the foundations for trustworthy analytics, AI, and operational excellence.
ACTIVITIES
- Define and execute the strategy for Enterprise Data Modelling, Data Regulatory and Privacy, Data Governance tools, and Data Quality.
- Lead a team of data governance experts and analysts, providing direction, coaching, and mentorship.
- Manage organization-wide data governance activities, including policy creation, exception handling, and compliance monitoring.
- Establish frameworks, standards, and operating models for data stewardship, data ownership, and data lifecycle management.
- Act as an escalation point for complex data issues, resolving conflicts and driving quality improvements.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, security, and business teams to embed privacy and regulatory requirements into data practices.
- Evaluate and select data governance tools, ensuring they enable scalability and adoption.
