ACTIVITIES

Design, develop, and maintain highly interactive, intuitive, and visually engaging reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that effectively communicate complex financial and operational data to a wide range of business stakeholders.
Collaborate closely and proactively with various business stakeholders (e.g., risk, marketing, operations) to deeply understand their analytical needs and translate raw, unstructured data into meaningful and actionable insights for strategic and operational decision-making.
Work in close synergy with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to ensure the consistent availability, high quality, and absolute integrity of data sources, optimizing underlying data models specifically for visualization performance and scalability.
Ensure all data visualizations and reporting solutions adhere strictly to rigorous banking compliance standards, robust data governance principles, and stringent security protocols, safeguarding sensitive financial information.
Proactively identify opportunities for new visualizations, reporting enhancements, and innovative data storytelling techniques, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging visualization tools and technologies.
Provide expert mentorship, guidance, and coaching to junior Data Visualization Specialists, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and shared knowledge within the team.
Conduct thorough testing, validation, and quality assurance of all reports and dashboards to ensure absolute accuracy, reliability, and consistency of insights presented.

ENVIRONMENT

Leading BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense), SQL (for data querying and manipulation), Data Warehousing concepts (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema), Banking Compliance & Regulations (e.g., MiFID II, Basel III, GDPR), Data Governance frameworks, Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), Azure Cloud platform (specifically Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse), advanced Excel, strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
