ACTIVITIES

Your role will be pivotal in constructing and maintaining the very foundation of the client's data intelligence capabilities. You will be actively involved in the end-to-end development and ongoing maintenance of the central data warehouse, ensuring its robustness, scalability, and performance. A significant part of your work will entail the intricate process of integrating and modeling data from various source systems, transforming disparate datasets into a coherent and usable structure optimized for analytical queries. You will be a key architect in the creation of compelling Business Intelligence solutions, designing and developing dynamic reports and interactive dashboards primarily using Microsoft Power BI. Ensuring the highest standards of data quality and implementing robust data governance policies will be a continuous focus, guaranteeing the integrity and trustworthiness of all insights generated. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand their information needs, translating complex requirements into elegant data solutions that deliver genuine value.

ENVIRONMENT

You will thrive within a data-centric and collaborative environment that leverages modern Microsoft data stack technologies. The core of the work will revolve around SQL Server for data warehousing, with extensive use of SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT processes). Microsoft Power BI will be your primary tool for creating compelling data visualizations, reports, and dashboards. You'll likely work with Azure Data Factory or other ETL tools for data orchestration and integration. Methodologies will lean towards Agile, promoting iterative development and continuous feedback loops with stakeholders. Collaboration tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar will facilitate project management and code versioning. A strong emphasis is placed on data quality, security, and staying abreast of evolving BI and data warehousing best practices.
