ENVIRONMENT

The environment is a critical infrastructure setting, operating with a blend of traditional IT (servers, networks, data centers) and specialized Operational Technology (OT) systems that control industrial processes. The role demands familiarity with infrastructure components, networking principles, and cybersecurity best practices specific to critical systems. Project management methodologies will encompass a mix of Waterfall for structured infrastructure deployments and Agile principles for iterative aspects. Tools used will include standard project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana), collaboration platforms, and potentially specialized tools for IT/OT asset management and security monitoring. Strong emphasis on compliance, risk management, and business continuity is paramount.
