IT Procurement Specialist
Our client, a major player in a regulated and mission-critical environment, needs an experienced IT procurement professional to steer complex technology agreements and supplier relationships. The mission focuses on strategic sourcing, commercial negotiation, and risk-aware contract optimization across software, cloud, hardware, telecom, cybersecurity, and IT services.
CONTEXT
Our client, a major player in a regulated and mission-critical sector, relies on technology procurement to keep essential operations secure, resilient, and competitive. The organization spends across a diverse landscape of software, cloud, hardware, telecommunications, cybersecurity, and IT services, often through complex agreements with global suppliers. Within the FIN department, this role has been created to bring stronger commercial discipline, sharper risk awareness, and a more strategic approach to external technology partnerships. The mission is not simply to buy technology; it is to shape category strategies, negotiate durable value, and ensure every supplier relationship supports the business in a demanding environment.
ACTIVITIES

- Design and run RFx processes, from market analysis and requirement definition to supplier evaluation, scoring, and selection recommendations.
- Negotiate complex contracts and commercial terms with technology suppliers, balancing cost, risk, service levels, compliance, and flexibility.
- Manage external supplier relationships, including performance reviews, issue escalation, renewal planning, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with legal, finance, IT, security, and business stakeholders to align procurement decisions with operational and regulatory needs.
- Drive commercial optimization by analyzing total cost of ownership, benchmarking, consumption trends, and contractual levers.
- Maintain accurate contract and supplier intelligence, ensuring visibility on obligations, renewal dates, risks, and savings opportunities.
EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
- Deliver measurable savings and value improvement across key technology categories without compromising quality or compliance.
- Reduce supplier and contractual risk by securing robust terms, clear service levels, and effective exit or transition clauses.
- Accelerate sourcing cycles through structured RFx execution and stronger cross-functional collaboration.
- Build category strategies that anticipate business needs and market shifts rather than reacting to urgent demands.
- Improve supplier performance and accountability through consistent governance and performance measurement.
- Strengthen the organization's commercial position in a regulated, mission-critical environment where continuity and security are essential.
