Network Engineer

A senior network coordination role focused on secure IT and OT infrastructures, Cisco technologies and robust incident response. You will keep complex on-site networks stable, segmented and ready for future operational demands.

CONTEXT

Our client, a major player in its sector, is modernising the invisible nervous system that connects offices, operational sites and industrial environments. The network is no longer just a support function: it is the foundation for secure collaboration, continuous production and resilient incident response. The organisation needs a senior coordinator who can bring order to a complex landscape of IT and OT infrastructures, Cisco technologies and security controls while keeping day-to-day operations stable and auditable.

ACTIVITIES

  • Design, implement and maintain secure IT and OT network infrastructures across on-site environments.
  • Coordinate incident handling, root-cause analysis and corrective actions with infrastructure, security and operational teams.
  • Manage Cisco technologies including WiFi and SDA, ensuring performance, segmentation and reliability.
  • Apply ITSM and ITIL practices to incidents, changes, problems and service continuity.
  • Strengthen endpoint security, NAC, VPN, PKI and IPAM controls in line with security requirements.
  • Document network architectures, operational procedures and recovery plans so that knowledge is not trapped in individual experts.

EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

The coordinator will create a more predictable and secure network service, shortening incident resolution and reducing the risk of uncontrolled changes across IT and OT boundaries. The role should leave behind clearer documentation, stronger security hygiene and a network architecture that can absorb future digital and industrial projects without compromising availability.

ENVIRONMENT

The mission takes place in an on-site operational context where IT and OT convergence demands both technical depth and careful change management. The environment includes Cisco networking, WiFi, SDA, endpoint security, NAC, VPN, PKI and IPAM, supported by ITSM and ITIL processes. You will collaborate with infrastructure engineers, security specialists, service managers and operational stakeholders in a structured, documentation-driven setting.
