Project Management Officer

CONTEXT

Our client, a major player in its sector, is strengthening the Group Performance Finance function as part of a wide transformation program. The PMO will sit at the intersection of finance, project governance, and operational reporting, helping teams navigate a complex portfolio of initiatives while maintaining a single, reliable view of progress. The role is part of a structured steering framework covering project management, organization, and management routines, with a strong focus on making reporting tools genuinely useful for decision-makers.

ACTIVITIES

• Coordinate project governance rituals, consolidate roadmaps, and track milestones, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
• Maintain and improve reporting tools and dashboards used by finance and transformation stakeholders.
• Collect, reconcile, and challenge project data to produce clear status reports and steering committee materials.
• Support project officers and workstream leads with planning, documentation, and follow-up on action plans.
• Help structure transformation initiatives, clarify roles, and ensure consistent methods across the portfolio.

• Deliver a reliable and actionable project reporting cadence for the finance transformation portfolio.
• Improve visibility on risks and dependencies, enabling faster and better-informed decisions.
• Standardize PMO practices and reporting tools so teams spend less time chasing data and more time delivering change.
