QA Analyst

CONTEXT

Our client, a major player in its sector, is modernising a high-stakes vehicle-recognition platform used to support operational decision-making at national scale. The system must process large volumes of data, integrate with critical infrastructure, and remain dependable under demanding conditions. Behind the technology is a public-security mission where precision, traceability, and trust are non-negotiable. The programme is seeking an experienced analyst-tester to bring structure and confidence to the quality strategy. The role is not limited to executing scripts; it requires understanding business risks, asking sharp questions, and designing test coverage that protects a secure and efficient service. The team works in a complex ecosystem of applications, interfaces, and operational constraints, so curiosity and analytical clarity matter as much as technical testing skill.

ACTIVITIES

• Identify, define, and plan functional, technical, acceptance, and regression tests for the vehicle-recognition platform.
• Create detailed test plans, scenarios, cases, and data sets based on business and technical requirements.
• Execute manual and automated tests, analyse results, and document findings with clear evidence and severity levels.
• Maintain and evolve automated test suites to improve speed, repeatability, and coverage.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, architects, and operational stakeholders to resolve defects and clarify expected behaviour.
• Participate in risk reviews, requirement workshops, and quality gates throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Track defects through their lifecycle and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices.
