Risk Data Analyst
Turn raw risk and factoring data into trusted regulatory insight and clear reporting. This role blends hands-on SQL analysis with business documentation to strengthen credit-insurance and data-quality decisions.
CONTEXT
Our client, a major player in its sector, operates in a factoring business where data quality is not a back-office detail but a direct driver of credit confidence and regulatory trust. Raw operational data arrives from multiple directions, and every inconsistency can ripple into credit-insurance decisions, reporting obligations, and business recommendations. The team needs a Risk Data & Reporting Officer who can sit between data, risk, and business process owners, turning fragmented information into reliable insight. The mission is to bring structure, evidence, and clarity to a regulatory context that demands both analytical rigour and excellent documentation.
ACTIVITIES
- Execute SQL queries and analyses to profile, validate, and reconcile risk and factoring data.
- Transform raw datasets into actionable insights, dashboards, and periodic reporting for risk and business stakeholders.
- Document business processes, requirements, and data controls so that regulatory recommendations are traceable and auditable.
- Investigate data-quality issues and work with owners to define remediation actions and preventive controls.
- Support credit-insurance and risk-related reporting by ensuring definitions, calculations, and sources are clear and consistent.
- Collaborate with analysts, risk officers, and process owners to improve the reliability of management information.
EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
- Stronger confidence in risk and factoring data through repeatable checks, documentation, and clear reporting.
- A more transparent link between raw data, business processes, regulatory requirements, and credit-insurance decisions.
- Actionable recommendations that improve data quality and reduce manual reconciliation effort.
- Reporting and documentation that stakeholders can trust, audit, and reuse.
ENVIRONMENT
