SAP ABAP Developer

Join a financial management applications team to build and maintain secure, high-performance ABAP solutions on SAP R/3 and S/4HANA. You will modernize core finance processes using RAP, CDS, and Web Dynpro while working in an agile, quality-driven environment.

CONTEXT

Our client, a major player in its sector, relies on a complex landscape of SAP financial management applications to keep critical business operations running smoothly. As part of the ICT Financial Management Applications team, you will help evolve this landscape from stable but aging systems to a modern, secure, and future-ready platform. The mission is not just about writing code; it is about ensuring that every financial transaction, report, and integration is accurate, auditable, and resilient. You will be a key player in a transformation that balances innovation with the reliability that finance demands.

ACTIVITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs on SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA systems.
  • Implement and enhance ABAP Web Dynpro interfaces for finance users.
  • Build modern services using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
  • Integrate and extend SAP Virtual Data Model (CDS) views to expose data effectively.
  • Support and optimize SAP FI-CO modules, ensuring alignment with financial processes.
  • Apply secure coding practices and participate in code reviews and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with functional analysts, business users, and other developers in an Agile environment.
