SAP BRIM Consultant

A strategic ticketing transformation needs an SAP BRIM specialist to modernise subscription, invoicing, and charging capabilities for a large-scale transport ecosystem. This mission combines deep SAP expertise with business-facing analysis in a flexible, internationally minded environment.

CONTEXT

Our client, a major player in its sector, is preparing a strategic move toward account-based ticketing, a change that will simplify how travellers pay, validate, and manage their journeys. Behind the visible passenger experience sits a complex back office where subscription orders, invoicing, and charging rules must work together flawlessly. The programme is modernising this foundation and needs an SAP BRIM expert who can connect technical configuration with business intent. The role is central to a multi-year transformation: it touches product modelling, revenue flows, integration with back-end systems, and the careful handling of personal data. The team is looking for someone who can work autonomously, explain complex topics clearly, and bring calm structure to a fast-moving strategic programme.

ACTIVITIES

  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP BRIM designs across Subscription Order Management, Convergent Invoicing, and Convergent Charging.
  • Configure and support the BRIM solution, ensuring consistency between order, invoice, and charging processes.
  • Work with architects, developers, testers, and business stakeholders to validate end-to-end scenarios.
  • Identify integration impacts with back-end ICT systems and contribute to secure data-handling practices.
  • Prepare functional documentation, configuration notes, and handover materials.
  • Support testing cycles, investigate defects, and help resolve issues in a structured way.
  • Contribute to the roadmap for account-based ticketing and advise on best practices for future evolution.

EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Deliver a reliable SAP BRIM foundation that supports modern account-based ticketing.
  • Reduce manual complexity around subscriptions, invoicing, and charging while improving process transparency.
  • Enable smoother integration between commercial products and back-end financial and operational systems.
  • Give business teams confidence that the new ticketing model can scale securely and sustainably.
  • Leave clear documentation and reusable design patterns for future programme phases.

ENVIRONMENT

  • SAP BRIM, Subscription Order Management, Convergent Invoicing, Convergent Charging, integration layers, and secure ICT back ends.
  • Agile and hybrid delivery with remote work possibilities, stakeholder workshops, and structured analysis.
  • An 80 percent work regime in a Dutch or English-speaking context, with strong attention to data protection and public-facing service quality.
