Scrum Master
Shape agile maturity from the ground up inside an Artificial Intelligence tribe that is still defining its ways of working. This Scrum Master role combines facilitation, coaching and community building to help technical teams deliver with rhythm and autonomy.
CONTEXT
Our client, a major player in its sector, has created an Artificial Intelligence tribe where data scientists, engineers and product people are building the next generation of intelligent services. The tribe is growing quickly, and its agile practices are still being shaped. The Scrum Master will therefore have a rare opportunity: not simply to run ceremonies, but to implement Scrum and sprint ways of working from the ground up. The role calls for a coach who can bring structure without bureaucracy, help a technical team find its rhythm and connect that team to a wider community of practice.
ACTIVITIES
- Introduce and facilitate Scrum and sprint methodologies from scratch within the AI tribe.
- Facilitate ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily coordination, reviews, retrospectives and backlog refinement.
- Coach the project team, Product Owner and stakeholders on agile principles, roles and responsibilities.
- Remove impediments, surface risks and help the team improve flow, predictability and collaboration.
- Track agile metrics and use them to guide continuous improvement rather than control.
- Participate in a community of practice to harmonise methods, share lessons learned and foster cross-team collaboration.
EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
- Establish a clear, sustainable agile operating model for the AI tribe.
- Increase team maturity, predictability and autonomy while preserving space for experimentation.
- Improve collaboration between technical specialists, product stakeholders and the wider organisation.
- Contribute reusable practices to the agile community and raise the overall level of agile maturity.
ENVIRONMENT
- Scrum, sprint methodologies, agile coaching and facilitation.
- An Artificial Intelligence tribe with technical teams, Product Owners and a community of practice.
- Continuous improvement, metrics, retrospectives and stakeholder collaboration.
- A changing environment where structure must be built pragmatically and adopted by the team.
