Senior Data Warehouse Developer

CONTEXT

Our client, a major player in its sector, is expanding its financial data warehouse to incorporate a new data source that will enrich reporting and decision-making. The assignment is temporary, focused, and high-impact: three months in Antwerp to evolve existing dimensions and facts, then surface the results through compelling Power BI dashboards. The team needs someone who can translate financial business needs into robust data models and intuitive visualizations.

ACTIVITIES

You will integrate the new data source into the existing warehouse, adjusting dimensions and facts to maintain consistency and performance. You will develop ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and build analytical models with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). You will also create reports and dashboards in Power BI, ensuring they answer real business questions. You will collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand their needs, validate data quality, and iterate on the solutions. Documentation and knowledge transfer will be part of your daily routine.

EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

You will deliver a fully integrated data source that expands the financial data warehouse without disrupting existing reporting. The new dimensions and facts will support accurate, timely analysis. Your Power BI dashboards will give finance teams clear visibility into key metrics and trends. By the end of the assignment, the client will have a more complete financial data foundation and a set of reports that drive better decisions.

ENVIRONMENT

You will work with SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and Power BI in a structured but collaborative environment. Financial data knowledge is a strong plus, as is the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The assignment is based in Antwerp, with a focus on delivery and knowledge sharing.
