ACTIVITIES

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-performance JAVA/J2EE applications, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, best practices, and enterprise-grade quality.
• Act as a technical mentor and coach for a team of talented developers, fostering their professional growth, conducting code reviews, and ensuring high-quality, maintainable code delivery.
• Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile development methodologies within the team, facilitating efficient sprints, effective collaboration, and rapid iteration.
• Architect and develop robust back-end solutions involving complex geographical data, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and seamless integration with front-end interfaces.
• Engage in hands-on coding for critical components, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and provide expert guidance on design patterns and system architecture.
• Collaborate intimately with product owners, enterprise architects, and other stakeholders to translate ambiguous business requirements into precise technical specifications and deliver innovative features.
• Oversee database interactions, leveraging both relational databases like DB2 and PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity, efficient querying, and robust data management strategies.
• Contribute to front-end development using React and TypeScript when necessary, maintaining a full-stack perspective and ensuring a cohesive user experience.

JAVA/J2EE, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, DB2, PostgreSQL, SQL, Agile Scrum, Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), JIRA, Confluence, Docker, Kubernetes. Extensive experience with geographical data libraries, mapping APIs (e.g., GeoServer, OpenLayers, Mapbox), and spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS) is a strong advantage. Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is also beneficial.
