CONTEXT

Our client, a major player in its sector, is undergoing a critical digital transformation of its public-facing web ecosystem. The platform serves millions of users and must remain resilient, secure, and lightning-fast while migrating from legacy Sitecore versions to the latest cloud-ready architecture. The team is distributed across Europe, and the mission is fully remote, with a strong preference for English C-level communication or native fluency. You will be the technical anchor for a high-stakes migration and version upgrade program, ensuring that every release strengthens the brand's digital presence.

ACTIVITIES

Lead the design and development of complex Sitecore solutions, including custom components, templates, and workflows.
Drive platform migrations and version upgrades, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
Collaborate with front-end engineers to integrate TypeScript, jQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS, and KnockoutJS interfaces.
Implement background processing and scheduling with Hangfire for asynchronous tasks.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices.
Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps.
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize the Sitecore environment.
Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability across all deployments.

Reduce page load times by at least 30% through architectural improvements and caching strategies.
