Technical Project Manager

Steer a critical NIS2 compliance program that brings order, visibility, and governance to a vast IT, OT, and IoT asset landscape. This role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operational technology, turning regulatory urgency into durable asset intelligence.

CONTEXT

Our client, a major player in its sector, is facing the sweeping demands of NIS2 compliance. The organization operates a complex estate that blends traditional IT with operational technology, industrial systems, and a growing universe of IoT devices. Each asset tells part of a story, but those stories are scattered across spreadsheets, local inventories, and disconnected tools. Without a single, trustworthy view of what exists, who owns it, and how it is protected, cybersecurity teams cannot manage risk effectively. The company has launched an essential NIS2 program and needs a technical project manager to bring discipline, visibility, and governance to IT, OT, and IoT asset management. You will be the bridge between infrastructure engineers, operational technology specialists, cybersecurity officers, asset managers, and ServiceNow experts, turning regulatory pressure into a durable capability.

ACTIVITIES

  • Define and maintain the Asset Management roadmap for IT, OT, and IoT assets.
  • Coordinate technical teams across Infrastructure, OT, Cybersecurity, Asset Management, and ServiceNow.
  • Oversee CMDB data quality, completeness, and consistency.
  • Formalize Asset Owners and clarify accountability across the organization.
  • Ensure alignment with NIS2 requirements and internal cybersecurity policies.
  • Run governance meetings, workshops, and progress reporting.
  • Identify gaps in asset visibility and drive remediation plans.
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and incident response with reliable asset data.

EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

  • A complete, accurate, and governed asset inventory covering IT, OT, and IoT environments.
  • Clear ownership and accountability for every critical asset.
  • Improved CMDB health and trust in ServiceNow as a single source of truth.
  • NIS2 readiness with documented controls, evidence, and governance processes.
  • Faster incident response and better risk prioritization thanks to reliable asset context.
  • A sustainable asset management practice that continues to improve after the initial compliance push.
