Test Coordinator
Join a high-visibility transformation program as the guardian of quality across a complex testing landscape. You will orchestrate functional, non-functional, and automated testing to ensure flawless delivery over a two-year hybrid mission in Brussels.
CONTEXT
Our client, a major player in its sector, is embarking on a two-year transformation journey that will reshape how critical digital services are delivered. The program is a delicate tapestry of legacy systems, modern interfaces, and stringent regulatory expectations, and quality is the thread that holds it all together. They need a seasoned Test Coordinator who can see the whole battlefield, not just individual test cases, and who can turn testing from a bottleneck into a strategic accelerator.
ACTIVITIES
As the Test Coordinator, you will define and own the overarching test strategy across multiple agile squads. You will coordinate functional and non-functional testing, ensuring that performance, security, and usability are never afterthoughts. You will plan resources, balance priorities, and synchronize test execution with release trains. You will also guide test automation efforts, particularly with Playwright and ReadyAPI, and mentor testers on ISTQB best practices. Daily, you will facilitate defect triage, risk assessment, and stakeholder reporting, acting as the single source of truth for quality metrics. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, architects, and business representatives to embed quality from the first sprint.
EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
You will establish a repeatable, transparent, and scalable test factory that reduces escaped defects and accelerates time-to-market. Your coordination will lead to predictable releases, higher confidence in production, and a measurable reduction in regression cycles. By the end of the mission, the client expects a mature testing capability that can be sustained long after the program ends, along with a team that has grown in skills and autonomy.
ENVIRONMENT
You will work in a hybrid setup in Brussels, blending on-site collaboration with remote flexibility. The technical environment includes Playwright, ReadyAPI, ISTQB-aligned processes, CI/CD pipelines, test management tools, and agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban. You will interact with DevOps teams, automation engineers, and business stakeholders in a fast-paced, quality-driven atmosphere.
